Ingredients

All our cakes are made from the finest ingredients including free range eggs.

Cakes may have a filling. This will depend on personal choice, but examples are apricot jam or jam of any choice, butter cream, chocolate etc

Cakes can be decorated in a variety of different ways.

Decoration

Generally the cakes are covered with regal icing. Butter cream can be used but is generally used to adhere the icing to the sponge or to coat children’s cakes.

We can decorate using sugar flowers which are made from a paste called flower paste that is edible and is sugar and this dries like china.

We make models which can be made out of icing, marzipan, modelling paste,or pastillage.

We have a large portfolio of photographs of cakes previously made. We also encourage you to look for any pictures examples of designs that you would like to incorporate on your cake.

Then we can amalgamate all the different ideas and come up with your own personal design.
